Sometimes a vow renewal is a small event…maybe just a few close friends and family members.  Miranda & Scott however, did the opposite!  Their original wedding was a very small event and now that they’ve been married for a few years they felt it was time they celebrated it in style, and what better place to re-tie the knot than at the Condor’s Nest Ranch in Pala, California.  As we’ve mentioned in the past, we love the Condor’s Nest Ranch.  It’s an awesome Southern California wedding venue with unique rustic details and photo opps are just oozing out of every nook and cranny.

Miranda & Scott are both animal vets in New York and they made a full weekend of this vow renewal event, with a lot of family and friends making the trek along with them.  When we showed up, Miranda was doing her hair and makeup and Scott was actually catching a few z’s in the main house, haha!  But he did finally wake up and then we were off and running.

We did a few portraits, including their first look at the barn (barns are always cool, am I right?) and whenever there’s a big ol’ tattered American flag hanging on the wall, you KNOW you gotta get a photo in front of it!  And when it comes to adorable kids, Miranda & Scott’s kids are about as adorable as it gets.  So cute.  So cooperative.  So perfect!

The wedding ceremony at Condor’s Nest Ranch was beautiful.  The weather was perfect and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.  One line of their wedding vows really stood out and it was this: “I promise to love you even when I hate you.”  #bestlineever
