Jamie + Jeremiah’s Rustic Carlsbad Ranch Wedding at Leo Carrillo – Style Me Pretty

It seems like only yesterday when we met with Jamie + Jeremiah. As we see with a lot of couples, the Bride had all the planning info and the Groom kind of lays low. As Jamie was telling us all about their wedding plans, Jeremiah didn’t say a whole lot and he’s a pretty quiet guy, but we could tell his gears were turning. As they both explained more details about their big day we knew it was going to be something special. They’d chosen the rustic wedding venue Leo Carrillo Ranch in Carlsbad to have their wedding. Leo Carrillo is an amazing venue and probably one of the best rustic ranch wedding venues you’re going to find in the San Diego area. Not too long ago they flattened their lower reception area to make a much much better dinner and dancing area, and it looks amazing!

They explained the color scheme they were going with and Cherry Blossom Floral Design lined up a beautiful collection of wedding florals, from the bouquets to the hanging arrangements in the ceremony tree to the centerpieces at dinner. The flowers were perfect.

As we mentioned, Jeremiah is a quiet guy and even though he had his buddies with him, it wasn’t until Jamie + Jeremiah’s first look that he got a lot more comfortable and was able to relax a bit more. I think we run into that a lot. Heck…if it was our own first look we’d probably be the same way! Cheryl and Natashka from The Style Lounge in Carlsbad made sure all the ladies hair & makeup were looking good too.

After running around shooting photos, we were treated to an awesome reception setup, with a table seating system we’d never seen before. Jamie + Jeremiah had a small wall set up with plates that had people’s names and table numbers printed on them, which was a very cool and unique wedding idea. The farmhouse tables added to the rustic vibe of the wedding and were adorned with vintage style dinnerware and amazing floral arrangements.

The dance floor at Leo Carrillo Ranch is nice and spacious. Perfect for a romantic first dance or a big ol’ dance party. We also really liked their lighted marquee letters. It looked cool in the day and added just the right amount of ambiance over in the bar area once the sun went down. The marquee letters were very similar to a big letter M we customized for our own home over at StuffSethMakes.

Their wedding cake was simple but classy, and they have VG Bakery to thank for the cake and all the extra treats that we….I mean…the guests got to enjoy. Check out the fun and cute wedding cake topper! All in all it was a great day and like every wedding, it went by fast! Fortunately, Jill Hudgins with I Do Weddings and Events was behind the scenes making sure everything was running smoothly…..and they did. Jill is incredible! In fact, over the years we’ve worked with I Do Weddings and Events many times and it’s always a pleasure and always great to know there’s a super-pro taking care of things to make sure your wedding is a huge success.
