Here we go!  Laura & Ben’s wedding in Martha’s Vineyard will probably be a 3 or 4-part blog entry.

Some back story as to why Laura & Ben chose Martha’s Vineyard for their wedding.  Ben’s family has lived in the area and owned a number of properties on the vineyard over the last I-don’t-know-how-many years, but it’s a long time.  So with all the history there, it was only appropriate to have the wedding there and they chose the West Chop Club Martha’s Vineyard to have the wedding and reception.  This was our first time over to this neck of the woods and what a great experience it was.  Being in such a laid back and relaxing town made it a little easier to prepare for the wedding (our own tourist photos will be in a separate blog entry :)).

Laura & Ben had family and friends from all over the globe attending the wedding, so in addition to the wedding festivities Laura & Ben also hosted a welcome reception a couple nights before the wedding, as well as a Texas BBQ lunch and a clam bake!  All the food was catered by Dee Smith of Tea Lane Caterers in Martha’s Vineyard and it was absolutely fantastic!  You can also see a few more of our photos on Dee’s website.
