As many of you know, we started out as videographers many years ago and it was about 5 or 6 years ago that we phased out video altogether and made photography the full-time gig. While photography is our “main event” we still have a love for video…err umm…excuse me….I guess everybody calls it “cinema” now. Whatever. As long as it’s good you can call it whatever you want.
Anyway, our friend Stephanie had seen our “Garden Cinema” clip as well as our NYC Super8 film we made, and when Mindy started talking to Stephanie about the Nalu Swim Kickstarter idea, Stephanie suggested Mindy get in touch with us. So she did and the brainstorming started! We loved the opportunity to do a video project like this. While we love our weddings, it’s always fun to have a project that’s a little different than what we usually work on.
After a few hours of shooting and several hours of editing, we were able to put together the piece you’ll see in the video below. It was a lot of fun to collaborate with Mindy Nye and Stephanie Dana (who shot the beautiful photos of the Nalu girls) We hope you’ll take a moment to learn about Nalu Swim, see Mindy’s passion for what she does and most importantly, help make Mindy’s dream a reality by BACKING THIS PROJECT!! 🙂
Share it on Facebook…share it on Twitter…share it on Instagram…share it everywhere! And if you or someone you know is interested in doing a kickstarter video or other promotional video please contact us to learn more or get started. If you need a wedding videographer we can also give you a couple referrals for that.
