If you recall, back in Alicia & Allen’s engagement session blog entry we had said “the more time you spend with these two the better.” Well that’s still the case and now we’ve logged several more hours with them. The hash tag #saakebaum is all theirs…don’t believe us? Check out instagram and see it for yourself!
It was a nice cool day for a Cottonwood Golf Course wedding. Just like with the engagement session Alicia & Allen were relaxed and ready for a good time, and with a great bridal party surrounding them it was pretty clear it was going to be a fun day.
The ceremony spot they chose at Cottonwood Golf Course was perfect, and what made the backdrop even better was the freestanding wall structure Allen built for them to stand in front of. If you follow our blogs at all you know we’re big fans of woodworking and DIY projects, so it was especially cool to see this at the ceremony. It was also nice to see so many of their engagement photos line the aisle of the ceremony in frames hanging from the chairs. Definitely cute wedding ceremony ideas.
After the ceremony we cruised around for a bit with them and their bridal party. Such a great group! We didn’t even have to go far on the property to get a good solid collection of images.
The wedding reception at Cottonwood Golf Course was just a downright good time. With all of their closest family and friends there to celebrate with them, Alicia & Allen definitely had the time of their life. Good people…good dancin’…his & hers cake pops…and check out the wedding rings with a wood inlay. Dang. I think it’s time we ditch our own rings and update them to something as awesome as Alicia & Allen’s wedding rings. We’re happy and thankful Alicia & Allen chose us to be a part of their big day! Enjoy the photos!!
